Sabres had 62 points all of last year, they have 63 points this season at the 57 game mark. Let's keep that in perspective. They are moving in the right direction. This probably scares some people. But this is marked improvement. They have a fine young core.

Did you even read the OP? In it, the poster even said they didn't expect the Sabres would stay a top 5 team. Only that they were excited how they were doing at the time.

Not really when a Fan from an Atlantic division team, not hard to guess which team, posted a thread just before the season asking if the Sabres were a bottom 5 team.

Then it would make perfect sense to poke fun at that, as the OP stated in the first post of the thread.
