Line Combos: The Best line in Blue Jackets history

Hey guys,

I'm wondering which offensive line in history of Blue Jackets was the best.

My current leader is line Huselius - Malhotra - Nash but I'm not very sure about that and most of all I'm not sure what combo played together in times of David Vyborny or Ray Whitney and Geoff Sanderson.

So what do you mean?

Off the top of my head, I like the Huselius-Vermette-Nash combo.

After looking at the stats I'm pretty sure for the 2009-10 season:

Huselius 23-40-63

Nash 33-34-67

Vermette 27-38-65

If Hartnell - Johansen - Foligno can keep up a pace 3/5 of what they have been so far, they'll outscore any other line in Jackets history.

I think its not so outlandish. Hartnell-Joey-Foligno is probably better than Nash-Huselius-Vermette. I know I'd prefer them. Joey has that quality of elevating his linemates that Nash never had. Could they score at a pace 3/5 of what they've been doing? Easily. 4/5 maybe. 5/5? That's where monkeys are flying.

I can see Joey at 70ish but no way do I see the other 2 at 65ish. I'd guess somewhere around 170 total or something like 70-50-50 at best.

We don't even know if they'll stick as a trio, or what injuries might pop up. But 55-90-60 is perfectly plausible to me.

I feel like Nash Fedorov Vyborny was really good, but I'm probably projecting what my high hopes were for that line.

Speaking of Knutsen, Zuccarello of the Rangers just passed him as the highest scoring Norwegian in the NHL. At least that's what they're saying on TSN & I'm much too lazy to research that to see if it's true, but seems more than plausible.

edit: They obviously mean for 1 season 59 to 53. Yeah, I know I said I was lazy but I caved & looked it up.
