I don’t know about you guys, but at this time last year I was emotionally defeated with this team.

Fast forward to now, I feel very proud of this team. Bummed we missed the playoffs but not bummed at the effort and attitude this team has. Looking forward to next year.

I'm proud of this team.

We missed the playoffs, but our record says we are a playoff team.

This team was arguably on par with our beloved/hated 100 point team. But I'll definitely say this team has a better future than that one. Fewer moves are needed (Pysyk + top 6 winger) this summer. We do have a looming goalie problem though, but we should be ok. If we can get a legitimate top 4 RD, we should be really good defensively. Matheson and Ekblad need to take one more step. Do these things and we are a cup contender next year (I'll argue with you till we are purple and flatlined).

The wait is going to suck, but it will be damn worth it.

Good thing I found a house I'm going to buy and if it works out, I'm moving October, just in f***ing time for next season.
