Here's a little video I made from my season showing the scoring leaders and team leaders through the first month. 95 created players are in this season

So here is the 1947-1959 allstar jerseys... slightly different then what they used in 1992 (75th anniversary season)

I wasnt alive yet but I got hockey cards of that allstar game lol
f*** I was 10 lol. Great year for me. PENS went back to back a couple months after that All Star game in Chicago.
Ironically enough the Penguins would play those very same Chicago Blackhawks and win the Stanley Cup in that very same building couple months later after the All-Star Game

Its funny how the Pens fans disapeared once Mario retired. They needed to win the Crosby lottery to show up once again.

Not me. I was watching Kelly Buchburger n Dick Tarnstrom. Lol
I think an whole new generation of fans was born once Crosby n Malkin came.
The old fans like me got to enjoy another great run which I definitely appreciate.
Crosby has probably been amumst the most hated players from other team fans in the league.
A lot of the hate is just how it is when ur the best.

The Pens were close to.moving out of Pittsburgh. Lemieux saved that franchise for a 2nd time. I just can't stand Staggy and Errey. Besides the Bruins NESN crew, they are terrible to listen too. So bias in may ways. I love Crosby, i just cant listen to that crew.

Hahahaah ya man the Pens old tv announcers were super bias. But yes just like Boston too all those home team broadcasts are like that. Here in Vancouver John Garret is the most biased I've ever heard.
Actually the new Pittsburgh announcers are actually pretty even with how they call the game. Big difference than when Stagey was always waving the Pens flag

I'm not sure if this has been asked before, hell I may have been the one that asked hahaha but how do all of you go about setting attributes for your players?

I personally go with their carreer stats and most of the 80 's players I have a knowledge of how good they were.
Superstars i aim for 90 and over overalls
2nd liners 84 to 89
3rd liners around 81 and 83
4th liners 80 and lower.

I usually rate players off career stats but also try to look into the specific season I am building them for. But more so try to base it off their career. Usually like thewall I have set ratings for each line:
1st Line 88+
2nd Line: 84-87
3rd Line: 80-83
4th Line/Depth Forward: 76-80
Top 2 D: 87+
Top 4D: 82-86
Top6D: 78-81
7TH D: 75-77
Anything below that is AHL

I'm not sure if this has been asked before, hell I may have been the one that asked hahaha but how do all of you go about setting attributes for your players?

I created a simple Attributes Calculator Spreadsheet to aid in my CAP creating. I use the "Similarity Scores" window on a player's HockeyReference.com page to locate (hopefully) three players with similar stats over their career. Example for Doug Wilson- (Hockey Reference Similarity Scores: Rob Blake, Ryan Suter, Duncan Keith):
Doug Wilson Stats | Hockey-Reference.com

Once I have located those three players that are already on NHL 20, I plug their attributes into the calculator and it basically averages the Attributes of those three players, and "calculates" attribute numbers for the Player I'm creating (i.e.; Doug Wilson). I have it set up so that I can read the Player screen and easily input the info from there, then it will list each attribute in the order you input it onto the edit screen (rather than having to jump around the screen because the order on the screen shot of the attributes is different than the order on the edit screen). I even have a column to cross-reference previous "original" attributes that I may have got from other sources. I use those to see if the calculator comes up with any large "ratings swings". If so I can take a closer look and maybe "bump" an attribute rating up or down accordingly. Hope this makes sense. Here is the spreadsheet:
