TV: The Alienist (tv TNT, online Netflix)

The first season was on TNT but season 2 will be on Netflix. The show is based off a book series by Caleb Carr. I thought season 1 was pretty good and had a strong cast, Luke Evans, Daniel Bruhl, Dakota Fannig, etc.. Season 2 has been taking forever, was said to be out last year but now it's looking like either later this year or next.

After what seemed like forever season 2 is finally started last night. I am doing a re-watch since it's been a while since I saw season 1.

Season 1 is on HBO. Really good so far , I think I'm 6 or 7 episodes in.

I haven't watched it, but considering the cast, and how well the set pieces and costume design look, I'm surprised the reviews have been mixed...

I thought season 1 was well done, just finished my re-watch the other day so plan on getting started on season 2 soon
