The thing is, every other team in the division is thinking the same thing. Out pacing them by 2 1/2 wins in 55 games doesn't sound like much, but it's easier said than done as we have discovered all too often.

Bottom line is the team needs to win. They've had time for slumps and excuses, now they need to turn it on or things are going to look very ugly.

EDIT: After each threshold, I mean. We were ahead of pace after games 2, 4, and 9. We'll always have games 2, 4, and 9.

I like this concept, though. Hopefully next season the team can get off to a good start and keep up the pace (ie not losing 5 straight games three times).
