Sakic and Yzerman being behind Brodeur is a travesty. Also lol @ Lidstrom, the best defenceman to ever play the game being outside of the top 10. For shame.

Bobby Orr says what? (Not to mention Bourque, Harvey, Potvin, and Shore).

According to my Top 120 players of all time list I compiled as part of a project on another thread, Lidstrom would be my 20th best NHLer of all time (Bourque is 19th).

What is the argument for Sakic over Shore.

Not sure, but Sakic did finish in the top ten in scoring ten times and he would have won two Art Rosses if not for Lemieux and Jagr. He was an outstanding playoff performer and had a dominant playoffs in 1996.

Oh sure Sakic is great. But he didn’t win four Harts. Only 99 and Howe with more. And if someone wants to use his era against him, know that Wayne could have freaking died in that era at his size. (Not pointing that out to you but the group)
