What is HockeyEttan?

"It's the little known 3rd Swedish 'pro' league. Think of it as the Swedish ECHL. A lot of J20 Nationell league players (like Persson) have been loaned to HockeyEttan due to the J20 being shutdown due to Covid concerns. If all goes well Persson could play up to 17 more games this season (excluding playoffs)."

I'm pretty sure I have everybody that should be listed up here. For older players I used professional seasons played to determine if they should be listed hence the 25-year-old players listed here.

 

Woo?

Maybe I'm missing something, entirely possible. But I'm high on Woo and I don't see him here.
Not to mention Rathbone, high on him too. I've gotta get my eyes checked.

 

I don't think you're missing anything. I was writing this in my free moments at work and missed them.

I'll fix that shortly.

 

Woo and Bone are two of our best prospects too. Really like both, and see them as important members of our D within a couple years.

I've added Woo and Rathbone. If there's anything else I've managed to mangle please do poke me and I'll fix it.

 

Given how few of them are currently playing I'll be updating each player's stats daily but I won't make a new post about it. I'll save that for a weekly wrap-up that I'll put out each Sunday.

The day got away from me a little. I'm going to update the main post tomorrow.

There also won't be a weekly update this time because like a derp I forgot to log what our players did this week and I'm too lazy to go down the list and check the game logs; though if work is slow enough I may get bored enough to do that anyway. No promises though.

 

The stats in the main post are updated.

I've added a WJC section with honourable mentions, as well as noting our first length suspension of the year to Silovs.

Why’s Silovs suspended?

 

I'm going to be honest. I have no idea, it's hard to find news out of the Latvian Opitbet Hokeja Liga so I was going off of the fact that Elite Prospects had him listed as suspended. It's the same for some of the injuries, I've looked but a lot of news for these leagues doesn't show up in English media.

 

I find using the ’Report’ feature gets the Moderator’s attention easier than just asking in a Post.

I was informed it’s not just for reporting & kvetching when I was asking for GDT’s to be made Live last season.

I’ll do that now.

Manukyan seems to be MIA, he was injured but is no longer listed as such... He's not exactly a prospect to watch these days but if we have info I'll put it in the main post so we can all see it.

Jurmo has been playing well in the U20 league producing at a PPG pace after a fruitless Liiga season.
