Yep. Business is business. I think this forces Marner’s hand a bit. I do believe Marner wants to win in Toronto. I want to see LV trade Miller for a 2021 second and b prospect. That would work.

It literally might be the most 'what' pick of all time. Like the project pick of all projects. I bet every other person in the building looked him up right away.

Atlanta drafted a guy playing Jr B in St Catharines in the 1st round like 10 years ago. Now that was crazy.

I really do not understand why teams do this?

Like, is the difference in 7th round picks in a given year that different that it makes it worth it?

I guess the only upside is it delays the need to offer contracts so soon.

Traded to the Blues for a 2020 7th.

That’s interesting? Reverse of the Buffalo trade we made last year in the 6th round. Guess our board must have been empty? Which means they probably won’t sign any undrafted free agents f anyone was hoping
