Nice set up Cor.

My dropper is Podkolzin. The international performance at the beginning of the year will keep him high, but he dropped over the year IMO. I am not sure he is the elite talent he was pegged to be, but will still be one great two-way player I am sure.

Wow. Lack of enthusiasm

I like the draft because we can discuss new leafs players that we likely never heard of.

Dont forget, lots of great Dmen come from round 2. Over the years our late round picks have become decent players.

no real interest in the draft with no 1st, I will be curious to see if there is a Leaf trade
1st time we haven’t had a 1st round pick since 2007. I remember people getting excited for Dale Mitchell

Edit: 2010* I thought Biggs was 2010 and Percy was 2011, but they were both 2011. Ehh, people still got overexcited for Brad Ross too

Give me a couple of the WHL goalies, some D-men that can move the puck and some center depth!

Honestly I was a big fan of last years draft vs. the big and do nothing else drafts Lou had. I another one like last year in rounds 2-7 and I'll be happy.

I can't believe the Leafs missed on two first rounders in the same year.

Was hoping to get tickets to the draft, since it's my birthday, but they were all sold out in the first couple of minutes. Later you could find a package of 4 tickets in the nose-bleeds for $1000 being sold on Craigslist.

Instead, I will listen to the first bit of it during my commute, then take my son out for a birthday dinner.

Saturday, I may attend Steve Dangle's post-draft meetup at the Regal Beagle, the unofficial Leafs hangout in Vancouver. So thats about all the draft excitement I have lined up.

Took my sons to the draft here in Calgary 2000 for about $10-$20 a ticket or something.

Perhaps it has got better, but really find watching at home gives more time for food, drinks, research, and talking to jerks on here.

Yes. Him, Foote or a dropper.

Take Constantinou at 84 and Donovan at 115. The rest can include a goalie, Russians, and Swedes.

We're going to likley need to trade up to get Foote as he is likely a late 1st rounder, or early 2nd. Craig Button in his TSN Mock draft had him going 30th.

Nolan plays for my Kelowna Rockets and he is my favourite current player.

He is the other son of Adan Foote, the younger brother of TB who took Callen a couple years back right before we took Liljegren.
