I'm just not very high on Dach. I think he's going to be maybe the 5th best center in this draft. Which is fine but I'd rather have someone with a bit more upside. I'm all in on Byram. Build from a point of strength and make it stronger. We have a lot of options this offseason to add forward help. Just don't force a center. Drafting for need is a surefire way to screw a team over.

I'd do it. Former 2nd overall pick. Already developed and has worked out the kinks in his game. Would be a smart add.

I'd be upset. Why would the Avs draft a massive faller in Kakko. Clearly there are issues there.

I'm still really hoping the Avs get Turcotte, think he'll be a brilliant player in the long run. Kids got insane drive on and off the ice, and those players typically turn out pretty damn good.

At the same time, would be fine with us grabbing Zegras or Dach, whoever the scouting staff thinks has the best upside.

Maybe Sakic will create so much confusion with the Barrie trade rumours that he confuses GMs into not drafting Hughes and Kakko and we get them at 4 and 16.
