What's the math on it then? I have us at a 96pt pace over 82 games but could definitely be wrong.

Hey! It’s 96 points over 80 games. Then we have 2 extra so at pace we’d win one of the remaining 2 for a total of 98!

Oh ok, sorry, thought my math was off with our actual point pace.
Have included the extra 2 games with my calculations of our current 96 pt pace over 82 games.
Why stop at 98, let's hit 100pts minimum.

I was ready at the start of the third period to put this game on the 'no doubt' list. Carolina scored, then I was sure it was a close game. Even with Panthers scoring the fourth goal, it felt like a close game, most game.

unfortunately, right from the Hop it looked like the Panthers would lose this one. The one positive is that they are now done playing Tampa Bay for the season. Tampa Bay is going to Tampa Bay.

What do the /25 and /25 and /32 refer to as counts? They’ve played a total of 36 games (and 7+5+24=36 so that makes sense).
A team is basically guaranteed to have 25 no doubt wins, 25 no doubt losses, and what you do with the other 32 games in the season defines your season.
So far I'd say 7 no doubt wins, 5 No Doubt losses, and 24 close games out of 32, which is a lot already.
But they have an 11-8-5 record in those close games so far, so that's not bad.
Games added:
Versus Detroit Dec 28- was close all game, and would like a more convincing win against the weakest team in the league, but a win is a win is a win.
Versus Montreal Dec 29 - I thought it was a pretty convincing win, and at times I was thinking it was a no doubt win, but Montreal kept it close.
At Columbus Dec 31 - the Panthers out-shot the Blue Jackets by 9, and I keep points of period wins by 4 points per frame. I actually had both teams tying with six points, but Columbus scored on more of their possessions than Florida obviously. This was like Columbus's Super Bowl: Bob's return. It was almost a no doubt loss, but Florida definitely kept it close for most of the game I thought.
So in the end, I've had all three games they recently played as close games: two wins, and one loss.

At the end of the second when it was 4-2, I thought that if the Panthers can get the next goal in the third it should be a no doubt win. Well Panthers got the next goal right at the end of the second. I was thinking the whole third, that this was a no doubt win, but then Ottawa scored. An ENG actually made me decide that this would be a no doubt win.

Definitely a no-doubter!
I should have known better with my set prediction. It was perfect, other than the Columbus game. I should have known it was like they're Super Bowl and they would be amp'd for it.
Tough next set. The Panthers need to make sure it's a successful one, as it's the last full one before their mandatory break.
I forgot to add, last game I started keeping track of period win points. 12 points in the game awarded, one point for 5 minutes segments per period. 1 point for a win, or half a point for a tie.
I actually had last game against Columbus a 6-6 tie, but I've already thrown the paper out I was keeping track of how I got that score.

And even made it more clear to me that this was a rare-ENG no doubt win when I did my period tracking, and the Panthers I had winning 10-2.

Agree with you on this one. First, Minny doesn't suit us well and we have a terrible record in their barn
