It is season 2019-20, our beloved Sens Army over the last few years has been embarrassed and destroyed, they've since been dismantled, and their strength has been replaced with young and able, but pre-prime bodies.
As they look to prepare for the upcoming season, even the most optimistic outlooks are bleak, and the team isn't expected to succeed in making it to the post-season.
While many users will be cheering for their success, some will be cheering for a maximized draft pick, which means hoping for a 31st finish.
Last year, the final standings were:

[TBODY] [/TBODY]With the competing tank teams being:
- NYR
- Buffalo
- Detroit
- NJD
- LAK
Teams that have improved in that time include NYR who have completed one of the fastest rebuilds in recent history, the NJD who won the draft lottery, and Buffalo who has always had the necessary tools but have been missing the toolbox.
Teams that have gotten worst may include, Anaheim, Minnesota, and Columbus.
That leads us to the first question of the 2019-20 tank threads: who will the Ottawa Senators be competing with for the ultimate loser prize: the highest draft lottery odds.
