This team has a very long way to go. They lost Sparks, Pickard, Holl, Marincin, Smith, Johnsson, Goat & Kapanen. Plus Brooks, Marchment, Mueller, Sandin and Grundstrom injured.

Nevertheless, this team has a number of reclamation projects like Gagner, Subban, Cumiskey, Jooris, Cracknell and Sproul.

In the Spring, the team could also see a bunch of new prospect additions like Durzi, Hollowell, Scott, Woll?, Joshua, Kara and others from Europe, etc.

I think Marlies fans should just sit back and watch this season to see all the moves and development projects underway from a more academic interest than a cheering interest.

With Dubas being promoted who's the Leaf AGM running the show now?

For sure. This season may be more interesting than any other from the past few years. Now Kaskisou Goalie is injured, Andersen is injured on the Leafs and ECHL McAdam is the Leafs back up.

This year is a farm rebuilding year with a new Growlers franchise, 19 AHL contracts signed (an AHL record), a weird loan of Gagner from Vancouver, and reclamation projects all over the place. It's pretty interesting.

No blue chip prospects from the Leafs either, so the roster looks pretty bad.

With graduations, it's all about developing the few players that the Leafs hope will be good NHLer. Grundstrom, Sandin and Liljegren. Then the next tier of iffy NHLer...hoping that will be good enough, Timashov, Engall, Bracco, Brooks.

Really the makeup of the Marlies isn't much different than most NHL teams. If you're a Leaf you still are optimistic future Leafs are playing elsewhere. NCAA, Europe or junior such as Holl, Korshov, Durzi, Rasenam, and some others.

There's parking right at the arena. It's more expensive that the ticket to the game.

Thanks for the info. I think the TTC is a nightmare down there. Usually go to OHL games, have not been down there yet. Any other info a newbie should know before going?

Do they allow re-entry between periods for a smoke?

Thanks for the reply and info, cheers!!
