Joe McDonald's list is solid but I think he missed a big one

It has been a good decade as even the 2 years the team missed the playoffs they were alive entering the final week.

One Cup, too many misses: The 10 most memorable Bruins games...

There were too many significant games to narrow it to 10, so we went with a dozen.

1. Zdeno Chara lifts the Cup - June 15, 2011

2. Game 7 win over the Lightning -May 27, 2011

3. The comeback vs. Toronto - May 13, 2013

4. Sending the Canadiens home - April 27, 2011

5. Boston begins to heal - April 17, 2013

6. Cooke hits Savard - March 7, 2010

7. Historic meltdown - May 14, 2010

8. Slip, sliding away - June 25, 2013 and June 12, 2019

9. Bruce Cassidy’s debut - Feb. 9, 2017

10. A Confidence-building double-overtime playoff win - April 21, 2017

There was another one that stood out to those involved. Although it occurred in the previous decade, it’s still worth noting because so many current and former players mentioned it without hesitation when asked.

It was Nov. 1, 2008, and it resulted in a Bruins 5-1 win over the Dallas Stars at TD Garden.
