I'll start off with saying I was likely less than cordial with quite a few Arizona posters about this upcoming Stepan for 7th trade. We butted heads and disagreed like crazy. But I wish Stepan and raanta both the best in Arizona. My bad for being such an ass at times and I am sure all Rangers fans feel the same haha.

I live in Phoenix currently and will surely be attending games. We have no real reason to despise each others teams. Here's to hoping DeAngelo pans out and the Coyotes compete for a playoff spot. Cheers and best wishes.

What is Deangelos upside guys? yall with love and hate Stepan, a pure heart and soul guy. Didn't fit the Rangers due to him he a bit slower. Raanta is going to finally become a starter and I'm exited to see how he takes that role.

There's a good chance he's better than whoever you draft at 7 OA. At the top end he could be a #2 all purpose OD. Needs to work on his defense though for that. More likely a mid pairing offensive specialist with a couple insane peak years. He absolutely can command the play from end to end when he takes over.

DeAngelo looked a lot better defensively than I expected and is dynamite with the puck. Questions about attitude and between the ears stuff. I liked him alot (was against the trade to get him), but I do wonder if there is something to the attitude stuff when we're the second team to move on from him when he has top notch skill with the puck. Wish him luck!
