Great signing! van der Wiel makes the back end a lot better. Like most Dutch players he moves the ball very well.

I'm guessing it's just a general reference to people not being happy that the Champs get even better.

I really like this signing. I was concerned about that spot when Beitashour left in free agency, but this is great!!

Sounds like he means it’s a very good signing. Thus other teams might be frustrated with TFC adding.

They’ve reportedly offered 4.5 million for Alexis Mac Allister as well

I think it was always their goal to upgrade this roster. Despite winning the MLS Cup, which I think the organization felt they should have won last season, the have repeatedly stated they intend to "go for" all the trophy's.

This is a good signing and confirms the words the organization has been putting out since mid-way past last season. They are going to take a shot at the CONCACAF Champions League, and I couldn't be more pleased.

The van der Wiel signing was finally made official yesterday. He's only 29, so he could become the best right back in MLS if he stays healthy.

Now we need to find a replacement for Cheyrou to back up Bradley in the midfield, and then we're pretty solid at every position.

We are going to rely on our depth a lot more this season if we hope to make a run in the CCL and remain an elite club in MLS.
