Lot of openings in the SEC lately. ACC has become the hot conference now. Curious to see what new coaches the SEC bring up to compete

In a way it’s a dumb fire. I’d fire him because of the way he has managed games recently. But they are firing him because he isn’t a national contender. And Texas a and m has never been a national contender really

You're gonna fire a coach who gets you 8-9 wins and can't beat Saban? Who they gonna hire to beat Saban?

That's not enough. They've gotten progressively worse without Manziel. His job was toast when he blew that game to UCLA.

Texas a and m hasnt been a great team for a long time. 8-9 wins is definetely enough. They’ve gotten worse without manziel? Obviously guy was a flash in the pan.

He should be fired for the ucla choke but not cause 8-9 wins isn’t enough

Sumlin was in among the more interesting positions going into the season because chances are he would have left regardless, unless TAMU somehow made the playoff. He would've either been fired or he would've moved up on his own, imo. He should land with another power 5 school.
