I still can’t believe this actually happened. I remember how gased he was after his first shift. It wasn’t until the playoffs that he started to look like the Sundin of old. Definitely had a positive influence on the team, though. Kesler and the Sedins in particular.

Yes, I'm sure when Mats looks back on his career, his fondest memory is his brief stint with the awe-inspiring Vancouver Canucks.

Gosh, was he ever lucky they signed him. Talk about a feather in the old cap, eh?

Massive signing for the Canucks. Soo many players( Kesler,Sedins) praised Sundin for their personal growth and dvelopment on and off the ice. It catapulted the Canucks 2 yrs laters to the Stanley Cup Finals.

If nothing else it was very entertaining hearing BoB Cole do a play by play.
