Giannis not much better at the line than Simmons (aka 50 Cent) which is pretty sad.....

Also can't help but think TNT knew exactly what they were doing delaying the game 20 mins to show all of the Sixers fans tuning in at 7:37 that Embiid was snubbed for MVP. No one will ever pass up a chance to kick Philadelphia in the nuts.

That interview with the Joker and TNT telecast crew was a joke ...dude is so lame personality wise. Yeah he produces quietly but at least Embiid has a pulse.

I hate this city. Sports Talk Radio back to acting like the Sixers are winning the next 3.

If Shake doesn’t go off they may have lost that game.

Philly is neurotic....not surprising. I am hoping Atlanta feels the pressure at home as a young team..no pun intended. But they are scrappy so won't go away quietly. Sixers did a better job on Trae to an extent. They still got killed on the perimeter with timely threes but at least they were not on fire with them like in game one. If the Sixers bench remains awake and Shake has broken out from his funk..then Sixers should win the series but may go 7...

Yeah, that's what Barkley was saying after the game. How about Kevin Huerter? Averages just under 12 ppg, last night had 20. So if he doesn't "go off" the Sixers win by even more. These "yeah but..." games are absurd. What happened, happened. If Shake doesn't score 14 (all of one pt above his season average by the way) maybe Simmons scores more than 4. Maybe Embiid scores 50, because Atlanta really has no way to stop him.

    My turn!

What if Green doesn't guard Young while putting up 4 in 30 mins in game 1?

I’m not going to argue that. I just hate how flippant this city is. It’s the same shit with the Eagles. Win one game and they’re winning the championship. Lose one and it’s time to blow it all up.

This is going to be a tough series.

Well, I won't argue that. But let's be honest, the Sixers should win this series. They are a better team than Atlanta. So I think it's ok to be optimistic about this series. But as they say... that's why they play the games.

There’s a difference between optimism and what these people are spewing though.

I'm sure there is. I don't listen to sports talk radio anymore because they're all nuts. The only time I really enjoyed listening to it was when I lived in DC and would drive up to Maine to visit the folks. I always timed it so I would hit NYC in the middle of the night to avoid the traffic, and listening these guys calling in at 3:00 am to rage about the Yankees was pure gold.

Derrick Rose got as many 1st place MVP votes as Joel Embiid did this year.

    Let that sink-in.

That apparently was from a fan vote. Who knew that fans got a vote in the matter.

I read that. Total bollocks fans get to vote - BUT even so...

How the f*** did Embiid get a single 1st place vote?!?! Not even 2?!?

I bet all 3 are hard-liners who think you can't be MVP if you didn't play every game.

That's the only possible explanation. Well, that or insanity.
