I have two questions:

Firstly, what kind of excuse is this?

Stars Mats Sundin and Nicklas Lidstrom said earlier that they wouldn't play while Peter Forsberg is injured.

What does Forsberg being injured have to do with these guys playing? What a weird excuse.

Secondly, anyone know why Ohlund isn't on the team?

Looks like a fairly solid group, Lundqvist will surprise a lot of people I think.

I think they are two different statements that got jammed together. It's more like:

-Sundin and Lidstrom ahve said they won't play

-Forsberg won't play because he's injured

I think it was something about his son, sick or some sugrgery?
He aslo hasn`t played hockey for a year, not exactly "game-shape".

I only saw him in one world juniors but when i saw him i said to myself....there's a guy who's pretty raw but could play in the nhl some day.Never a star but a nice all around player........if you wanna coach him.I'm talking about Hago's here.

Personally I am really impressed by Hagos, but right now he seems to be the odd man out. Zetterberg, Jönsson, H. Sedin & Påhlsson are ahead of him on the deapth chart...

Overall the defense isn't bad, but IMO it is gooing to take allot to actually win a WC with that D-crop. It isn't impossible but if we had Tjärnqvist and Tärnström we would have had a fair shoot, now...

Pretty big chance of that happening, as far as I know they left a spot open for him. But I've heard that Kronwall has been in and out of the lineup the last few games, possibly injuries?

I might be wrong but I had heard they were very minor. That he was supposed to return soon.

Unbelievable, Nordström and Höglund hasn't done jack this season and especially in the playoffs. Kahnberg on the other hand is one of the few pure goal scores we have got.

I agree, its sad..

Let's not hope BÅG is a Färjestads-Hardy. Inviting players just because he trained them himself at one time or another. Though I wouldn't scratch JJ, both Nordström and Höglund could easily be replaced by someone else.
