Lost to Örebro J20 after SO. Little surprising but Örebro has dominated a lot this preseason.

Then a 10-1 win against SWE U17.

Lysell & Edvinsson both very good. Lysell only played a total of 2 periods in these games though.

Pretty good team imo. Maybe Hugo Gabrielsson can slot in too. Really like all 4 lines !

Apparently players have been selected for a U18 camp next week. Can't find the roster.

Edit: Announced now: Småkronorna/Team 18

Three exhibition games between U18 and U19 by the looks of it. Let's hope they happen.

Would have to assume Malmö playing 2 games next week is why Olsson isn't on the roster. If not, then that's just bad.

Sloppy game overall, especially from the U18 side. U19 were by far the better team during the first half, second half was pretty even. Lindbom and Edvinsson were the big standouts. Only noticed Lysell when he was trying to beat 3 guys alone, wasn't very successful in this game.

Also, Ludvig Jansson was a pleasant surprise. Persson was sent home, injured.

No Oliver Johansson is a minor surprise to me (maybe especially since some of the above players haven't actually played hockey games for like 4 months)

Weird that there's only 2 goalies in camp. Maybe waiting to see if a goalie they want to bring gets healthy? 24 skaters in camp, while you can bring 25, so the open spot is for a goalie.

As for Oliver Johansson, too small sample size I guess. Remove his 3 goals in HA, and there would be no talk of him making it really. Happy to see Östlund made it, however.

The camp will be held together with the U19 team... which this time around happen to have two goalies who are young enough to play with the U18 team. Brännman (2003) and Hävelid (2004). So one of them will likely be number 3 if they are to bring one to the U18 WJC.

Didn't look at the U19 roster, but now looking at it there's these 2003's on there, too:

Simon Aho
Erik Fernhall
Oskar Asplund

Theo Jacobsson
Joel Holmli
Milton Oscarson

Also, Torgersson. So he's finally healthy.

That's a damned shame. Covid/injury I assume. Bystedt getting to showcase himself is great, though. Milton was on the U19 roster. Grans is also joining the U19 team.

Yes, big loss. Center position will be a huge weakness yet again. I believe he got to choose between the U18's and playoff hockey with Växjö. Must have chosen the latter.

He's not playing today in a 13F lineup, which is making me lean towards his absence not having been a choice.

Dower Nilsson - Östlund - Bystedt - Eljas would still be a good center lineup imo.
