Which group of players you would take for your team assuming they are all in their prime? P.S. Assume refs/league do not penalize players for clean hard hits.

    Team Physical: W - Ovi, C - Lindros, D - Stevens
    Team Speed: W - Bure, C - McDavid, D - Coffey

Speed. Can’t hit what you can’t catch

If headshots are allowed then it's Stevens' squad.

I honestly don't know if OV should be on team speed. He was fast and explosive as anyone during his peak.

    Nevertheless I take team physical.

Prime Ovi and Lindros would be awesome

I like team physical here because I think it'd work better on the ice as a unit. Not to mention that Ovi (esp when young) is pretty damn fast on his own and Lindros and Stevens aren't slouches either in overall skating...

If we're saying in a vacuum (i.e. put Mcdavid on first line, Bure on 2nd line) I think team speed probably wins because I like Coffey a lot more than Stevens here.

This is assuming that team "physical" is slow. Prime OV and Lindros were anything but slow.

OV and Lindros would probably break McDavid on the first shift, if Stevens didn't do it first.

Is it 3 on 3? If so. Speed no question

3 on 3 speed easy, for my team probably the speed group in todays NHL. Coffey feeding Bure and McDavid on a line would be deadly, but the other group would be dominant today even if they couldn't play wreckless they would still be a force.
