I communicate mostly in reading and writing and have never actually heard the word “Kraken” pronounced. Does the first syllable rhyme with “crack” or does it rhyme with “drake?”

Personally the name makes me think of a song called Crack 'Em off the soundtrack to the old Tupac Movie, Above the Rim; part of the chorus is "Let me at 'em, let me at 'em, so I can crack 'em. But I'm not so sure violence is the way to go either haha
