@Foggy1097 those last five or so yeti logos are really starting to get at what I’m picturing. Especially for AI. Have to think a human could really come up with something very good in that same spirit of turning the mountain into the Yeti.

The New Orleans Jazz used that scheme as a nod to Mardi Gras colors being Green, Purple and Yellow. Same reason the Mobile Mysticks of the ECHL used them.

The Avalanche also have their old Rocky Mountain Xtreme concept lying around gathering dust.

not really appropriate to Utah… Utah is green maybe 1 month of the year… even our higher alpine areas are less densely populated with tress compared to like colorado


Colors need to be burnt orange/ yellow/red gradient (evocative of red rock landscape) with the jazz purple as the 3rd jersey

Assuming you're the Utah Blizzard, I hope the team kind of apes the purple Jazz jerseys already posted in here. Mostly an underutilized color nowadays in the NHL, so easy to make a distinctive and cool look that'd fit with the name.

Probably works better than New Zealand, add any word to white or black for men's sports teams and any word to ferns for woman's and you have reached the limit of this countries sports name creativity. All Black's rugby, All Whites soccer, Tall Black's basketball, Ice Black's hockey, Silver Ferns Netball.

The name of our badminton team... the black cocks.

I think all this countries creativity went into making the 50,000,000 ending in LOTR.

Names that I've seen get suggested that I think are unlikely:

Utah Stingers - CBJ mascot named Stinger
Utah Gila Monsters - VGK mascot is a Gila Monster
Utah Blizzard - possible, but getting into Avalanche territory
Utah Black Diamonds - Major League Pickleball team
Utah Pioneers - also possible, but the term is very closely tied specifically with Mormon settlement. The Denver Pioneers may also matter.
Utah Eagles/Wranglers/Thunderbirds - AHL teams. Colorado Eagles would be the most relevant.
Utah Archers - pro lacrosse team
Utah Raptors - NBA Toronto Raptors, can play against the Jazz in the Delta Center.
Utah Cougars - BYU's nickname.

The Winnipeg Fury were a professional soccer team in Winnipeg, Canada. The team was part of the Canadian Soccer League from 1987 to 1992. They were one of four teams to participate in every season of the CSL. In 1993, they played in the Canadian National Soccer League.
