Da Costa is uncertain (injured?). He will give his final answer in 8 days.
Apparently some players were cut, and some others will join the team. Thiry is not part of that second wave of players. Perret seems to be joining later, if at all.

If we don't have Bellemare, Roussel, Auvitu, SDC, Texier and Thiry.. then I'm a bit worried. Hopefully some good news in the next few days (please Tampa, win some games..)
Pretty sure Thiry and Perret are still with their club teams. As an aside, Louis Boudon scored all four goals in the Generals 4-3 playoff win last night. Kid is a very good player.

So no Lampérier or Raux, who were fixtures on the last seasons rosters.
With Thiry a lock (NLA finals), we have 11 d-men for 7 or 8 spots. I guess Dame-Malka, Crinon, Baazzi, Llorca, Dusseau will fight for 1.
Locks : Manavian, Hecquefeuille, Gallet, Chakiachvili, Janil [Thiry]

Forwards, Perret should be there when available. S. Da Costa still a question mark. Texier and Bellemare are going on a run in NHL playoffs it seems.
So 14 forwards there. I guess only 1 or 2 cuts. Surprised not to see Matima. Di Dio Balsamo and Valier are probably the potential roster cuts if needed.

It's a puzzle roster with all the big guns out. I'm worried for the top-6 and especially the center position. We have decent weapons on the wing (Fleury, mostly). Bertrand will have to step up big time, like he never had in NT sweater at this point.
Rech has to become a leader as well.

One question

I saw twitter video where Germans celebrates their promotion into Elite at U18. And in video there is Stanley Cup banner in Grenoble hall, what does it mean ?

Where do you see 3+ cuts? I see one cut on defence and that’s it unless Tex or PEB become available but both seem very unlikely.

Going to be a very tough year for France with all top players out. Relegation escape goal.

Roster for today's game vs Latvia

France won 2-0 thanks to goal from Sacha Treille (PP goal, rebound from Leclerc) and Chakiachvili (slap from the blue line)
Overall pretty good game. Team France was really solid, creating a lot of PP chances. They didn't give up a lot of shots and Buysse was solid.

We were missing 17 players including the entire top 3 lines and had our 7th or 8th best goalie in net. And some of the guys we had weren't even B-team tier, there were semi-pros from the Latvian league, a Dman from the Swedish 4th (wtf) division.

No idea why they sent such a roster to France.

Stephane is big loss for France, it is a big pitty I was looking forward to see him in Kosice. I think your team will struggle to replace him..

6-0 loss vs Switzerland tonight.
Level of concern : UP
Defense is weak, forwards didn't create a lot.
The new coach Bozon tries to organize a new system but it takes time, and I don't know if we have enough talent. All our leaders are injured.
Very concerned. The Great-Britain game is going to be huge. And it's the last day...

French U-20 Team was 16th this year (relegated to DIV IB), U-18 team was 15th. Tough years coming I guess, which is a pity.

All France can hope for is that the Jacket's roll in the NHL playoffs is over now. Tex is needed more than ever.
