Team Board Dispersal Draft - Pick #15

Let's see which fanbase can assemble the best team for one playoff run in 2016. All the players are thrown into a 20-round dispersal draft (12F, 6D, 2G). The draft order was randomly generated and this is not a fantasy-based draft for points. The winner will be voted on in the polls section and only players whose rights were owned by a NHL team in the 2014-15 season will be eligible. Columbus and Washington will not be participating in this draft, so HFBoards Polls Section (HFB) will take their place. Washington's original pick of Patrick Kane will be removed.

Yeah, this is dumb. I get, if it was pick one line, but to field a whole team, giving one day for each pick, means this is going to take 2 years to get done. Not worth it

Yeah, this is dumb. I get, if it was pick one line, but to field a whole team, giving one day for each pick, means this is going to take 2 years to get done. Not worth it

It's not that it's dumb per se, just that I think that it should be implicitly noted in these OP polls that the lineups are going to be evaluated in June 2016 (at this current rate) and that all voters should remember that the player you're selecting today won't necessarily be the same then. For instance, Datsyuk would turn 38-y/o in July 2016 and Chara turns 39-y/o in March 2016, so you have to decide if that's the player you want for one playoff run in 2016?

Whats the reasoning behind Columbus and Washington not being a part of this again? Must have missed it, pretty dumb if its not even going to have all the NHL teams involved. And the time this is going to take is ridiculous, highly doubt that it gets completed.

Columbus' mod doesn't want this kind of draft on their board and a third of Washington voters were trolling the draft.

My guess is because wash picked him, but then they were removed and he was probably missed. I would have taken him instead of Keith
