I don't know much about Felhaber, but this seems like a good deal so far. Lipanov probably wasn't going to get another contract, and Felhaber improves the depth. An ECHL/AHL tweener should be an upgrade.
Felhaber also seems to produce in the playoffs.
Time will tell if Felhaber deserves another contract, but improving the depth of your organization should create a better environment for prospects to compete and grow.
If Tufto's pass-first mentality can connect with Felhaber's shooting, that'd be neat. OSB had Tufto in the Stamkos spot on the PP, and he wanted to pass it.
