People seem to forget how old Burns is. There's no denying he's unreal right now but he's 34 and signed until he's 40 at $8m per. Father time will be coming for him soon. He's not the defenseman you target in a blockbuster trade.

This trade would be atrocious even if he was in his prime. But I don't think Tampa should do McDonagh for Burns straight up. I'm not trying to insult Burns, he's definitely the better player right now but Tampa doesn't need his offense and his contract has the potential to be a bad one in a few years.
