Smith is the Rays #30 prospect, looks pretty lousy for the Mets thus far.

Mets are usually conservative with calling up their prospects, they'd rather sign these has-been free agents on minor league deals before giving them a shot

He has but I don't think he's a viable option for 1B.

I dont think the Mets had plans to bring back Duda. He is a high swing and miss guy who is hurt a lot(mostly back issues). Seems like he will be a better fit for a AL club where he can swing over to DH easily.
The Mets will probably move Bruce to if they can.
