i think Columbus is going to make a real hard push

Can they pay signing bonuses?
That will be massive for UFAs this year. With the pandemic and the unknown I think all players will want as much gaurantee as they can get.

Eighth year will help the coyotes but I still think he moves on
Colorado would be perfect for him if the salary is right. Not sure what Hall is gonna command now.

Did not follow up that MVP season very well. Would be hesitant to do anything more than 8 or 9 mil for like 5-6 years

My guess is he gets full term either 7 or 8 depending on resigning or free agency. As far as cap hit think it starts at $8.0 million and might go up a million or so

Give me a minute I’m looking lol. But yes there was plenty of discussion on the Avs board that there was a 4 year and 7 year offer. The 4 year was in the 12’s I believe and the 7 year was around what NYR gave.

Ok that makes sense. So maybe they offered way more for 4 and then a normal for 7.......

makes sense
