So...who is getting traded?

Even with Franzen's cap hit being removed, we would still be over after signing AA

Pretty much what I originally guessed he would get (5.25 x 4), happy to have a deal done.

If we want to pick up picks at the deadline, we could still look to move Green.

Good deal, fortunately it wasn't one of those bloated long term deals Holland hands out like candy. I'm sure there is a NMC/NTC but at least it's a really solid deal for one of our "core" players who isn't firmly on the downside of his career. :yo:

I didn't think they'd get this done. Glad they were able to make an agreement before the arbitration ruling.

Will be interesting to see how they massage the cap now.

Great deal, I was expecting 5.5M x 5 years. We get his prime years and he'll be a UFA at 30.

Holland made a great deal, well would ya look at that

God I hope they trade him. Or let's hope he can actually be a 30 goal scorer LOL

But still better than nyquist and one of our key forwards moving forward.

The best news is it's 4 years. Hate 6 or 7 year long deals.

Does this mean that Tatar is no longer a bad influence in the room?

Is he now a "character guy"?

And most importantly, does he now have Holland stock?

No one said he was outside of putting words in Holland's mouth. Relax

This is kinda a head scratcher to be honest. Kinda seemed like the Wings had let loose their attack poodles and that meant that a deal was impossible. I think Holland turned course because he knows he has no chance at mediocrity in the next couple seasons without Tatar.

I like this deal, price is fair. Glad it isn't nearly a decade like most of the contracts this team is on.
