I'll take the much cheaper, stronger, more physical, better goal scoring and defensive player, Vladdy Tarasenko.

On the Flyers I would probably take Tarasenko for his pure goal scoring ability but Panarin is the better player.

I am Blues fan but I think I give the slightest edge to Panarin. Tarasenko is superior goal scorer and has rounded out his defensive game pretty well in the NHL but I think Panarin has better skating, stick handling, vision and hockey sense. Both are fantastic players and I would have loved to see them play on the same line (in St. Louis of course) but if I were to put a grade on each player it would be, Vladi: A-, Panarin A

This is easily Panarin.

Panarin’s worst season is only 1 point less than Tarasenko’s best season.

In the four years that Panarin has been in the league he has 320 points in 322 games played. In the same time frame Tarasenko has 283 points in 318 games.

It’s Panarin by a significant margin.

Tarasenko:
33 goals - 66 points
33 goals - 68 points

This is Panarin pretty easily, unless Tarasenko proves he can go back to the 40 goal, 75 point player he was a few years ago
