Depending on how well Liljegren does in the AHL this year, wouldn't be surprised to see him get called up towards the end of the season + playoffs. If the Leafs can't keep Gardiner next year then he'll most likely be the favourite d-man for the second pp unit

Pettersson and Lindblom are locked for the NHL imo.

Also two SHL Swedish forward of the year:sarcasm:

Lucas Wallmark is still up for Carolina. He’s got a decent chance of making the roster, funnily enough, because another Swedish center in Victor Rask while trying to cut a sweet potato.

For the Sabres...

Dahlin you have of course.

Asplund was recently sent down at the same time as Olofsson. Though both will likely get callups later on (especially Asplund).

Nylander is 50/50. He has really earned it this camp but might need to show it more in the AHL before a full time promotion...we shall see.

Also Pilut is still on the roster. He will likely be sent down for development time but he seems to be no doubt one of our 6 best D and should stay.

we love our Swedes.

I would bet on Andersson being back up by the deadline.
I think it’s almost 100% for sure. At least one of Zucc/Hayes/Spooner/Namestnikov/Vesey will be moved at the TDL, wouldn’t be surprised to see 3 of them gone either

Kevin Stenlund and Jonathan Davidsson are both still up with Columbus as of now but will both likely be among the last cuts.

When is buffalo making their final cuts?

With preseason now done could be anytime now.

But with Pilut sitting last game, it looks like he will be cut to start.

It's hard to tell on Nylander still. Sheary hasn't played in a preseason game but might be ready for the opener. If he isn't ready...it looks as though Nylander made the team. If he is, I still think Nylander makes it but there is a possibility Sheary just takes his spot completely and he gets sent down.

It seems like he'll come back up when a top 9 center leaves the lineup.
