well done Canucks twitter person lol
Good numbers, we are paying for his potential, but not going overboard.
Definitely could've been worse with Benning handling things. That's probably about what you'd expect for a 25-35 point winger who might improve.
That could end up being a steal if he performs like the second half of last year. At worst its only 1.85 a season, for 2 seasons. Pretty solid deal honestly.
Good deal...Benning didn't screw it up so thats always a nice, yet rare thing.
Very good. Smart media use. Also takes attention away from the Burrow/Higgins buyout dithering.
Tad higher than what I was expecting, but fine nonetheless.
However, these "tads" are going to add up soon enough if you include Dorsett's and Sbisa's overpayments...
Nice, but signing your RFAs to reasonable deals isn't a big deal.
If that's the total cap hit and not the average per year it's a solid deal.
Yup, after the Sbisa deal I'm never going to assume on a Benning contract until it's totally confirmed.
But yeah, if it's $1.85 that's a solid contract.
Really good deal.
Solid cap hit. Was armchairing at 1.75m.
Probably structured 1.7 and 2
This is a pretty routine bridge contract. Can't really screw these up or you won't be able to ice a full roster.
1.85mil for a 2nd 3rd line tweener is good deal. I like it.
Can't find anything bad about this.
Let it be known, when Benning actually makes a smart move, literally everyone here is approving of it.
it's a decent move, but again, it's where he has all the leverage....
I like it. Good term. I'm not sold on Baertschi yet but this contract isn't going to hurt if something goes wrong.
He's had leverage before and not applied it.
$1.85M is a solid deal for 2 years. Buys up one year of arbitration too.
Good deal, happy to have Baertschi signed for the next two seasons. Hope he can pick up where he left off this year.
