Podcast (Audio) Surprise! Players Season End Media Availability

I assume if they would've done them after we lost they would've given us John Torterlla answers
These availabilities are pointless IMO.
Everyone with a set of eyes knows exactly why this team faltered. What use is it asking the teammates of the defencemen who completely cost us this series 'what went wrong?' -- they're never going to come out and say it outright. Instead we are greeted with endless platitudes of nothingness from the players...what else can they say? Oh, we weren't good enough as a team. Oh, we have to be better defensively. Well, what does this mean? You can not ask for specificity with any of these players...they detest the media, and rightfully so.
For some of us who have been privy to listen in on a real conversation about some of us these players from other players, they are saying things that are similar to what we talk about here through the comfort of near-anonymity.
Nobody on earth thinks Nurse or Klefbom are top pairing defencemen. Not even their teammates. Not even themselves. They're in a rough situation because the team needs better players. If this team had Duncan Keith, that series was a 3-0. Simple as.
