Obviously enough demand for this matchup to reach that level

I'd like to attend a Super Bowl some day just to say I've been, but damn if someone offered me $10,000 for my ticket, yeah I'd take that.

I think the Miami factor is huge. Most desirable location you can have it in my opinion, especially when it comes to getting people from the northeast to go.

Also should note that since Hard Rock Stadium was renovated to add the roof it has a much lower capacity than when the stadium previously hosted the Super Bowl. Previously it held 70,000+, now it only holds in the 60,000.

I think due to that factor last nights game was the lowest attended Super Bowl since the first game at like 62,000. So a limited supply was a big factor in the cost.
