Yeah, and his current salary is $3M. He's basically an overpaid 4th liner, no need to resign him. He's a player I wouldn't mind having for 4th liner salary, not someone that should be overpaid by over $1M. The issue here is that players rarely take a pay cut to stay on the same team.
