That be said, Dortmund would be mad to sell Sancho at a discount. Not as mad as Leverkusen selling Havertz at a discount (since they are backed by Bayer) but still very stupid.

I was gonna say I saw a report like this, that said United is willing to go over 100mil but the negotiations are now over the initial fee. So maybe that’s what the Woodward not willing to go over 50mil rumor is.

I've seen talk paying in installments cuts down on agent fees which gets Dortmund more cash in the end (just over a longer period). I think this will be wrapped up by the end of next week, possibly Monday at the earliest. No one else is going to pay what Dortmund wants, and he wants to go to United due to it being in England and the massive endorsement money that comes with being a star English player at Manchester United. City is already out and deep as hell on the wing, Chelsea's main target is Havertz and they closed going in on Sancho when they bought Ziyech. Liverpool despite winning the League and CL the previous year couldn't even pay the release for Werner somehow, and no chance Arsenal or Tottenham enter the discussion. This combined with Real and Barca cutting their expenditures massively has given United a clear run at Sancho.

I think the stated fee is over inflated and include all the crazy bonuses.

There are probably crazy conditions like winning the Champion League, winning the balon d'or, scoring 50 goals or other.

The realist price is possibly closer to €40-€50M
