Strength Coach needs Advice

I am a strength and conditioning coach, and would really like the opportunity to coach a German League (DEL) team. Is that a realistic possibility? I'm assuming it all depends on a team's budget, etc. What do coaches/asst. coaches get paid there? I have heard the money is tax free, and they'll cover an apartment and car. I have worked over in Germany before and loved it, so I understand the culture and all. Anyone's input or advice would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

IIRC foreign income is free of U.S. income tax if you stay out of the country for 18 months or longer. I'm not sure if that is what you meant, however.
