Pretty sure that was clear on the ice.

Bish, Stralman, Stamkos, Callahan, probably TJ... Ah, what could have been.

A long tough season. It's not easy to get far in the playoffs and win without having a few banged up players.

TJ was fine, he was a turnover machine but didn't physically wrong at all. Callahan inured or healthy, can't tell he always stinks in the playoffs. Healthy Stralman, Stamkos and Bishop would've been key in the Penguins series though.

He was so bad I almost kinda wished he didn't play, or at least play so much. But hard to hold back a key guy like that.

If we could just stay healthy for one freaking run. If we are healthy, we bring home a cup one of the last two seasons. Disappointing.

Agreed. I also think that Stralman not being up to par is part of what led to Hedman falling off a bit in the ECF. He had to cover quite a bit.

On a similar note, the article about Johnson today said his wrist wasn't fully healed until around January. Not really surprising but it still sucks. That early part of the season was so ugly for the whole team. At least this year I don't think we'll be questioning if we're a playoff team for the first 3 months.

Part of me is glad Johnson is not in the WC, it has only been the preliminary round and already some close calls.

I'm really glad Palat is there though. If Palat's up to speed by October, we're a step ahead of where we usually are. He usually doesn't wake up until Christmas.

2015/2016 October+November: (16 GP) 2-5-7

2014/2015 October+November: (24 GP) 5-10-15

2013/2014 October+November: (26 GP) 4-3-7

If I'm not mistaken, in each of these years, Palat has gone on to lead our team in Post-All Star break scoring. In the first two, I believe he led the team in second half scoring. If this guy shows up from Game 1, he could have a monster year. (And get paid.)
