Sit tight? Maybe, maybe not, but if they are going to do something they arent trading Schenn for parts. If the goal is to pick up a defenseman of Eddys caliber it can be done much much easier than what you are proposing.

Maybee in your mind but taking the best team in the West and adding tarasenko to that team (who we know thrives in this system) is not sitting back. Have vlady come in is better than any trade deadline trade that would have us lose some one. So no it's not sitting back it's more like having an ace in the hole and playing it.
