Wanted to mention this. Matt Stienburg, son of Trevor, was selected 63rd in the NHL draft. Pre-draft rankings had him in the 100-200 range. I've know Matt since he was 2 or 3 years old and have watched him develop into a fine young man and a good hockey player. He's had to overcome adversary including a bone infection in his shoulder and hip, requiring a PICC line for antibiotics. All through this he never complained and worked hard to get better.
Matt played with the Halifax MacDonalds (AAA Midget) and went on to Prep school in Toronto, where he was drafted from. He had already decided to play NCAA at Cornell.
I was talking to Stieny yesterday and as you could expect, is a very proud dad.
