My Lord, Dorsett is one of the worst fighters I've ever seen. Stewart and Dorsett felt each other out for a second, and then when Stewart got close Dorsett just started flailing like a baby. I don't have a YT of it, yet, but yikes!

Laraque was one of nice guys in the league and one of the most charitable. Are they going to say he's classless too?

Sometimes a guy is just pumped and wants to get the fans pumped too. Classless is standing over a guy while he's injured and taunting him.

What problem is there with waving to the home fans? Sheesh.

I've seen a lot of fights this year where both guys just stop and skate away before the linesmen jump in. Makes the whole staged-fighting thing seem that much dumber.

Props to Dorsett for giving up size in this one. Total beat down by Stewart though.:)

Flailing like a baby? Stewart is bigger and stronger than him and out-muscled him. He was game but just outclassed.

Stewart beat Dorsett like a drum.I have no problem with Stewart pumping up the crowd after a decisive win like that. The Blue Jacket announcers need to give it a rest. Stewart was just in a fight, the adrenaline is pumping through his veins!

But I do like how Dorsett plays the game.
He just can't find anyone his size(5'2" 110lbs ) to fight when it's fightin' time. There aren't many 6'0 190lb guys that fight often.
He pretty much is always fighting someone a good bit larger than him.
He had a great toe2toe with Darcy Tucker in '08-'09 season. Tucker was old, but they were similar in size. He has a lot of heart, but it leads to ass whippings a lot of times, like fighting Andrew Peters. He has no business with Peters on his fight card. I looked at it the other day and was surprised he isn't Pejorative Slured from Yablonski, Engelland, Mitch Love etc pounding him in the AHL. Bissonnette and Mike Brown have fought him in the NHL and AHL.
He's a throw back for sure. I'd take him on my team any day. I'd just need to teach him to let Boll do the heavy lifting.

this.

Stewart wins hand down, and I like the play on the crowd personally. But all of you posters dogging Dorsett for "flailing like a baby", consider this, most light weight agitators would turtle in a heartbeat when squared off against a freight train like Stewart. Dorsett is a gutsy player that leaves it all on the ice every night, and he does it with class, no cheap shots or dirty hits. He's very popular in Columbus for good reason. Its not uncommon to see him in the bars outside the arena before a game, sipping a soda and chirping with the fans.

Like dnyman said, Dorsett plays the game hard. My dad is a big follower of the Jackets, and he enjoys him on the squad as well.

I didn't realize he had a fight against Peters though.. not a good call, but he doesn't seem to care.

I'd love to see Stewart fight Evander Kane. They are about the same height.. Stew is obviously a bit of a bigger guy, but they both can scrap, and they both can flat out play.
