PIM:
1. Steve Downie 135
2. Cody McLeod 76
3. Derek Dorsett 75
4. Brandon Prust 71
5. Tom Wilson 67

On pace for 345 penalty minutes so far, but also for 44 pts. He´s a very solid underrated passer, imo.

Went nuts on Gudbranson after the fight last night, signalling that Gudbranson is much more taller than him:

He was also punching him while he was on the ice, though..

I question the correlation between high penalty minutes and being a troll as well as your definition of the word 'troll'.

Love watching Downie play, just glad he isn't on the Avs anymore. Just look at his eyes, he's a psychopath. You can never tell when he's about to snap.

The funny thing is that he isn't bad at producing either.

If he could shoot and play on the PP he would be a 2nd line player ability wise, he has beautiful mitts when it comes to passing.

His 5v5 production per minute is also exemplary since he entered the league. 2P/60... that is the same in that time as:

Eric Staal, Anze Kopitar, Nicklas Backstrom, Jeff Carter, Justin Williams and Max Pacioretty.

The only bigger surprise for me in the top 100 5v5 P/60 producers in that timeframe (2007-08 to present, 1000+ minutes played) is JP Dumont.

He's one of a dieing breed thats for sure. Heavy pims guy that can probably play middle six minutes without looking bad. He seems like hes going nuts again though

Is someone going to photoshop a tutu on him? Looks like he's doing a pirouette the way he bends his arm over his head.

He's just pointing out how big his christmas tree and where it is if Gudbranson wishes to leave him a present.

Will always love Downie (unless he does something to a Lightning player in the future that makes me not love him). You're never going to have reason to question his heart, that's for damn sure.

Him and Bobby Farnham are truly amazing to watch, It really is pretty indescribable, You just have to stay tuned and see what they'll pull. I truely think they have pregame bets to see which one out lunatics the other.

Personally, I think he brings a lot of what the Pens needed. Great team guy, some soft hands, and a bit crazy. Truth be told though, it does seem a few of these minutes are from misconducts because he can't keep his trap closed.
