NHL Central Scouting Selects Pointstreak Sports Technologies Inc. To Develop New Scouting Platform and Enhanced Content
TORONTO, ON – The National Hockey League (NHL) and its Central Scouting Bureau have reached an agreement with Pointstreak Sports Technologies Inc. (“Pointstreakâ€) to access statistical data and video content for players of interest through the combination of Pointstreak’s real-time scoring technology and the video indexing technology of Pointstreak’s wholly-owned subsidiary, STEVA Sports Software Inc. NHL’s Central Scouting Bureau will now have access to real-time scoring information as well as indexed video footage from Pointstreak and will make it available through a secure portal for its scouts as well as all 30 NHL member clubs.
