Fletch takin care of business on the home front. Quiet but efficient off-season. Digital Booya must be wringing his hands :)

Glad we got him signed.

So, we have Hoffman and Michalek as our Iowa tandem? Probably wouldn't hurt to find some jobless AHL vet to hold down the fort unless Mill thinks those two are ready to share the net.

in 2 or 3 years what if this guy turns out too be a stud & dubnyk has a 6 year contract???

Then we'll have 3 years of a great tandem. Michalek would only be on his second contract by that point, the cap would be higher than it is now. There would be no problem.

Good to see he signed for us. Definitely wasn't in the best possible team in NCAA, so will be interesting to see what he does behind a more structured system. He's got some potential, that's for sure.

Aside from that college incident he seems to have had a few good years in college. Should be fun to see him get shelled in Iowa for a few years.

I considered Gustafsson a better prospect than Michalek, and we saw him get torched.

Unlucky for Gus, because I think Iowa will be better next year. Michalek will be the beneficiary, not to take anything from the kid.

Hope he works out.

 He's been shelled in every level he's ever played. Remember the scouting reports when we drafted him? Played for one of the worst high school teams in his state and had the most saves in the state at his level. Harvard was pretty rough for a while there too.
