I’ve always liked Johns since watching him here in Cedar Park. He put up career (offense) NHL numbers playing under Hitchcocks coaching last season.
Some say he didn’t have a good season but who did other than the top four; 91, 14, 47, 3. Janmark did after coming back after missing a full season; Pitlick/Faksa looked good as well.
Back to Johns though. Big young physical d-man I think will only get better as we have a number of offensive d-men to carry that load. He’s not going to need to worry about being a big point producer just a big top 4 to help our defensive part.
