OTT puts Stephane Da Costa on waivers.
As a Da Costa supporter... good
Well, that was worth it.
He pulled a disappearing act after the preseason. Can't say I'm surprised. Best to him wherever he lands be it Bingo or elsewhere.
Does this mean Mika's coming back up or are they not going to have an extra forward?
Mika is free at last
Well, that experiment worked out well.
Ladies and gentlemen: your 2013/14 "Brandon Bochenski Award" Winner, Stephane Da Costa!
That's to bad, hopefully he gets through to Bingo and helps our depth down there throughout the season.
I want Zibby now, please and thank you.
Grant or Jim obrien getting called up good 4th liner
Odds that they call up someone making sub-900k to sit in the press box and have Kassian play every day?
Come on down JOB!!!!
Godspeed you baby looking mofo
Any reporter from B-Sens noticed (if they even have one at their practices?) anyone missing at their morning skate?
At least it makes our lineup a lot less awkward. Da Costa just didn't fit, unless Spezza was hurt.
This... I kind of want to see Grant get an honest chance.
Zibby will be fine for the next little while getting 1st line minutes in Bingo. It will do him some good. When we call Zibajanajadad, I want it to be for a real role, not a 9mins/night 4th line spot.
Well, NO ONE can complain that he didn't get an opportunity to play in the bigs. The Stephane Da Costa experiment is over. Doubt we'll ever see him up in Ottawa again.
At least it means Spezza is fine.
Wish they got rid of Kassian instead and called up someone to alternate with SDC.
Well, there's a chance we might: He'll probably be a "Black Ace" come playoff time if Bingo get eliminated early.
no come on now
Da Costa --> O'Brien
Pageau --> Zibanejad
Kassian --> Grant
MacArthur - Turris - Ryan
Greening - Spezza - Michalek
Smith - Zibanejad - Conacher
Condra - Grant - Neil
You could take it one step further Smith --> Petersson and that's potentially a huge win
