I want to know if the step is really high between those two league.

For exemple could an underage like Maxim Tanguay could do well in the AAA this year, and how do you think he could do next year ?

Maxim's stat this year for Beauce-Amiante are:

season PJ22 G28 A32 Pts60 he's first of the league 13 pts over the second
tournoi à la ronde PJ12 G11 A15 Pts26, he's fourth of the league

you could found stat from all the AA quebec developpment league at:
http://www.ideqc.net/hockey/Accueuil.asp?txs=ini&CodeLigue=LAA&strSigle=logolhd.gif

thanks in advance !!!

Its not a huge step really.

Espoir is all 15 year olds and late birthday 16 year olds (Sept-Dec).

Tangauy is really small though. 5'08 140 on a good day. He'd do well in Midget AAA, but not anything close to his numbers in Espoir.

Last years Espoir leading scorer was Francois Ouimet. He had 70 some pts in 30 games in espoir and when he was called up to AAA he put up 9 pts in 9 games. He was a late bday 16 year old though. But he was about the same size as Tanguay.
